Important Notice about Copyright Protection
The type of portrait desired helps to determine the best session to select. We offer Studio or location sessions, as well as promotional "Limited Edition" sessions planned throughout the year. The Creation Fee on location (within 40 miles of the studio) is $229.00. The Family Creation Fee in the studio is $159.00. For an Individual, the studio fee is $129.00. If an Executive Head shot is what you need, we offer this in a package format for $189.00. Payment of the Creation Fee is due upon scheduling. We allow sessions to be rescheduled once with a minimum 24 hour notice. An additional reschedule, will require an additional $100.00 rescheduling fee. All Creation Fees are non-refundable.
The Portrait Design Consultation
This is the first step to creating custom portraits with your specific needs in mind. We invite our clients to meet with us at our studio for a short 15-20 minute appointment. This is a great opportunity for your children to explore the new environment, so on the day of the portrait session they will be familiar and unafraid. During this time, we will discuss ideas for the portrait session, clothing options, locations where the images might be used in your home, as well as answer any additional question you may have. Our goal is to create portraits that reflect who you are and memories that you will cherish forever. The consultation provides the foundation for these awesome results.
The Portrait Session
We offer portrait sessions in our Mandarin Studio. This environment allows us the flexibility to create portraits using various combinations of studio lights, backgrounds and props. We strive to provide a "Children Friendly" environment by allowing the kiddos to take over the place as if it were their own (which really ... it is). We fully support "bribes" ... so get ready for us to spoil your little ones (with your permission of course). The name of the game is to have fun ... this goes for everyone!
Our location portraits can happen at a variety of places. We determine the best location based on the information given at the consultation. We can help give suggestions as to what location might be best based on your personal decor choices, taste and desires. Also, time of day is important based on the type of lighting desired (not to mention the kiddos schedule). Again, no stress here - you are in good hands and we will determine the best time to get the portraits you want.
The Presentation Appointment
Once your session is complete, we will schedule a Presentation Appointment to occur within the next 10 - 14 business days (based on your schedule). This is when all "decision makers" need to attend. At this appointment, we make all final selections for purchase by projection viewing. We schedule up to 2 hours for this appointment (and it usually takes about that long). Although children may attend this meeting, we recommend taking this opportunity to make it more of a "date night" as it could make it easier to concentrate on your portrait selections. During this time, all orders are placed and a minimum of a 50% deposit is required. The balance is paid when the order is delivered in approximately 4 weeks (some custom products may take longer).
Portrait Pricing
We specialize in artistic wall portraits of children and families. We offer an a-la-carte ordering menu that allows you to create an order that uniquely meets your needs. Additional items, including gift size portraits and framed multi-image folios are also available. "Boutique" items including custom portrait handbags, custom cards/announcements and designer albums are available with the purchase of any wall portrait or gift size portrait order totaling $500.00 or more.
First Year Portrait Session Collection
We offer a collection of sessions that document your child's first year of life. This collection includes a newborn session, a sitting up session and a standing session. This collection expires when the child turns 18 months old and includes parents but no additional subjects. We are currently accepting six (6) new babies a month on a first come, first serve basis. The fee for this collection is $299.00. You may opt to add on a $50.00 location fee for the in-home newborn session.
Custom Framing
We offer custom framing and highly encourage our clients to choose from our unique display of custom frame samples. We guarantee all images framed with us but cannot do the same for other framing options.
Method of Payment
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Personal Checks and Cash. All prices are subject to change.

The Copyright Act protects photographers by giving the author of the photograph the exclusive rights to reproduce your photograph. This includes the right to control the making of copies.
It is illegal to copy or reproduce these photographs elsewhere without our permission, and violators of this Federal Law will be subject to its civil and criminal penalties.
